Landcom is committed to building a strong community at Bunya and has established a community development program to help residents settle in and connect with their local community.

A Welcome Worker, Soraya Kassim, has been employed to coordinate the program. Her role is to work with residents to develop community events and activities which provide opportunites to connect with others who live at Bunya and build a sense of community.  Soraya will also be visiting each new household to deliver a welcome pack and gift.
